Job Description:

We are looking for an outstanding Avionics Engineer to join our innovative team for development and delivery of state of art aircraft electronic systems. This position will contribute to electric and electronic systems architecture development, delivery, and conduct component level and prototype tests.

Responsibilities:

  • You will define safety-critical avionics systems

​

  • You will manage and maintain the Flight Control related requirement traceability from aircraft to item specifications

​

  • You will support the systems team in the detailed review of schematics and layout PCBs

​

  • You will be the hardware specialist, advising for the equipment suppliers

​

  • You will assist in failure evaluation and calculations

​

  • You will create and review certification relevant documents and plans according to DO-254

​

Requirements:

  • BSc./B. Eng or MSc./M.Eng. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a related field required

​

  • Experience in aerospace / aviation product development

​

  • Proven experience in Flight Control System, Radio Communication System, Cockpit System, Satcom System

​

  • Detailed knowledge and practical expertise of DO-254, DO-160 and ARP4754A

​​

  • Preferred knowledge and experience in Electric Vehicle Systems, Battery Management Systems, Electrical Wiring System, Electrical Power Systems

​

  • Preferred knowledge of standards and good practices in electrical wiring, printed circuits, EMC, bonding, insulation, and related electrotechnical components and materials​

​​

  • Preferred experience in requirements management tools (such as DOORS)

​

  • Self-starter with the ability work both autonomously and as part of a team, hands-on attitude

​

  • Good writing and speaking skills in English, excellent communication, negotiation skills

​

  • Available to travel, if/as required
